Bradford Writes! Fall 2020 Issue Available Now

I am delighted to announce the release of the inaugural issue of Bradford Writes! Exemplary First-Year Student Writing.

Published biannually, Bradford Writes features student essays written in our first-year writing program at Pitt-Bradford. These essays reflect the high quality creative and intellectual work our first-year students are producing, and we want to thank each of our Fall 2020 authors: Alannah Allen, Andrew J. Bokulich, Tara Babal, Kyron James, Richie Kotoh, Osekamso Ogbechie, Alivia Laird, Ashley Stein, Torie Wiest, and three authors who chose to publish their work anonymously.

Beyond being used within the composition program, we invite all members of the university community to read and share these students' work. We should all be proud of the young thinkers and scholars we welcomed to Pitt Bradford during Fall 2020. The future at Pitt-Bradford is looking bright!

A special thanks to Dr. Tracee Howell and all the composition faculty who continuously inspire their first-year writing students to produce this work. And finally, to Dr. Jonathan Chitiyo and all the first-year seminar faculty for promoting Bradford Writes and helping our first-year students acclimate to the Pitt-Bradford community. Our students' first-year experience wouldn't be the same without all of you!

Have a great semester, Pitt!
